Christopher Hagens, CFA, is a Vice President on NGC's U.S. Credit Research team. He is responsible for fundamental credit research, financial modeling, credit underwriting, and investment recommendations across leveraged loan and high-yield portfolios, supporting portfolio construction and ongoing credit surveillance.

Prior to joining NGC in 2020, Christopher was a Credit Analyst at Insight Investment, where he focused on leveraged loan screening, financial modeling, credit underwriting, and portfolio surveillance. Earlier in his career, he was a Credit Analyst at Cutwater Asset Management, where he performed credit analysis, derivatives valuation, security modeling, and performance reporting in support of fixed income investment strategies.

Christopher earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany and is a CFA charterholder.
