Vice President

Emmet Browne is a Vice President on NGC’s U.S. Credit Research team. He is responsible for fundamental credit research, issuer analysis, and investment recommendations across leveraged loan and high-yield portfolios, supporting portfolio construction and ongoing credit surveillance.

Prior to joining NGC in 2023, Emmet was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on credit analysis and investment opportunities across leveraged finance markets. Previously, he was a Senior Manager at Capital One, overseeing corporate credit and risk analysis. Earlier in his career, Emmet was a Credit Analyst at Allied Irish Bank in New York, covering speculative-grade loans within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. He began his career as a Banking Associate at the Central Bank of Ireland, developing a strong foundation in banking, financial markets, and regulatory oversight.

Emmet earned a Master of Science in Corporate Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from University College Cork. He is both a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
