Jeff Brown is a Managing Director and Head of Credit Research. He leads the firm's global credit research platform, overseeing fundamental credit analysis, sector research, and investment recommendations across NGC's liquid and structured credit strategies. Jeff brings extensive experience investing across both public and private credit markets, with deep expertise in leveraged finance, direct lending, and fundamental credit analysis.

Prior to joining NGC, Jeff was a Managing Director on Apollo Global Management's Direct Lending team, where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, and managing private credit investments. He also served as Sector Head for the firm's Services, Technology, and Software industries. Earlier in his career, Jeff was a Partner at GoldenTree Asset Management, where he covered the Technology and Software sectors and managed CLO and long-only leveraged loan portfolios. He began his career in Debt Capital Markets and High Yield Research at Credit Suisse, building a strong foundation in capital markets, credit underwriting, and corporate finance.

Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Cornell University and is a CFA charterholder.
