Managing Director & Structured Credit Portfolio Manager

Paul Meloche is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for NGC’s European CLO platform. He serves on the firm's European Investment Committee and is responsible for portfolio management across European CLO strategies, including the issuance and management of NGC-sponsored CLOs and investments in securities issued by third-party European CLO managers.

Prior to joining NGC in 2020, Paul was a Portfolio Manager at Ellington Management Group, where he managed investments in European CLO tranches and other structured credit opportunities. Earlier in his career, he held structured credit investment roles at West Face Capital and structured finance roles at Barclays Capital and Banc of America Securities, where he specialized in CLO structuring and execution.

Paul brings extensive experience across the European CLO market, spanning portfolio management, securitization, structuring, and relative value investing. His expertise encompasses both primary CLO issuance and secondary market investing across the capital structure.

Paul earned a Master of Science in Management Science (Applied Optimization) from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Chemistry from McGill University.
