Managing Director & Head of Trading

Rob Lambert is a Managing Director and Head of Trading. He leads the firm's trading platform, overseeing execution, market strategy, liquidity management, and trading across leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, and structured credit. Rob also serves as an observing member of the U.S. Investment Committee, contributing market insights and technical analysis to the investment process.

Rob joined NGC in 2017. Prior to joining the firm, he was Chief Investment Officer of Endeavor Plus, a start-up insurance company, where he oversaw investment strategy and portfolio management. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner and Head of Developed Markets at BTG Pactual Asset Management and served on the firm's Investment Committee. He also held the role of Senior Vice President and Head of Trading at Harbinger Capital Partners. Rob began his career in high-yield bond trading, holding senior trading roles at RBC, BNP Paribas Securities, Société Générale, and Chase Securities, where he developed deep expertise across global credit markets, market structure, liquidity, and trade execution.

Rob earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College and completed the BTG Executive Leadership Series at Harvard Business School.
